I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I enjoyed the party hosted by the University of Florida Alumni Association last Saturday. (I hope my friends aren’t reading this!) I’m an FSU grad, so partying with Gators is not exactly at the top of my wish list. But my wife Jamie is a UF grad and she can be pretty influential. Kidding aside, I am very appreciative that Jeanna Goldberg and the UFAA invited us to pa
This sure was a fun party! Thanks to Leslie and Bob for inviting us to set up at the Bistro Bijoux Holiday Party in Destin, FL on Monday night. We had three hours of non-stop photo booth sessions. Lots of silly props, great food, good wine and the jamtastic sounds of Common Thread, which as I understand it is a spin-off of Heritage. The band took some hilarious pics in the booth too! Check out some of our favorites below and v
We were invited to participate in a surprise 30th birthday party for Ryan Manthey, photographer/owner of Pure 7 Studios by his wife Erica. It was also Erica’s sister Sonia’s birthday and what a fun celebration it was! The party was at Grande Point Pavilion in Panama City Beach. It’s a great little venue, with a fun pool and large deck out back. I enjoyed meeting a lot of wedding vendors from the panhandle are
I don’t even know where to start. This wedding reception was incredible! We had never set up the booth on Market Street in Carillon Beach before and I have to say that it was the perfect venue. The entire street was shut down for the reception. Candlelit tables filled the street, string lights crossed between the balconies, and The Daddy Mack Blues Band jammed into the night. Allen Davis and his staff from Paradise Cuisi
We made the trip to Tampa, Florida this last weekend to attend the wedding of our good friends Carolyn and Billy. I’ve known Carolyn for 13 years, since we waited tables together at the Cactus Club in Hyde Park Village. So I feel qualified to say, Billy, you’re a very lucky man! And, Go Noles! The wedding was at Hyde Park United Methodist Church, where my wife and I attended together when we lived in Tampa. And the
Casandra and Cuyler’s friends and family were a little hesitant to try out the photo booth at the beginning of the reception. But Casandra did a great job helping us recruit and after the guests took a few turns, it was ON! The wedding and reception were both held at The Courtyard in North Hill, a beautiful oasis near Downtown Pensacola. The photo booth was in a great spot – between the bar and the bathroom –
Angel and Joey’s wedding and reception were first class all the way. They were married August 14th, 2010 on the verandah of the Emerald Grande, overlooking Destin Harbor and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Our photo booth was set up inside, near the ballroom and conveniently close to the bar. I say convenient because for some odd reason, it seems like we’re always able to recruit people into the photo booth after the
